It has really strong burst. When you're not in hype level 3 your damage isn't very good but you can focus on peeling for teammates until you have your burst back up. The 60% shield from transformation (and the 50% shield from fiery escape) is VERY nice everywhere there is chip damage or dots. The general squishyness of the class makes him binary tho: you are either full life and shielded or dead.An important thing to remember is that gunlancer scales extremely well with engravings, especially blue lancer - since your shield is basically always up (if you have specialization & time your shout right) a lot of the negatives to engravings are basically negligible. So try to level it up to 50, nothing is flashier in this game. If by flashy you mean fast, agile class that has to do flashy moves and outplays, that's reaper, but reaper isn't released on AGS servers yet. The reasons to play it are the highish apm, high mobility, high stagger, high destruction, two built in class dashes, and general tankiness. Gunlancer is a dps class just like the rest. the hardest part about lost ark is deciding on a main, i remember starting on KR OBT and i kept switching class all the time and i couldn't decide because a lot of them were fun and not so fun for me but yes you are right about reaper, its the most mobile class and very fun, the dagger teleport ability is probably one of the best abilities .
